I personally don't think 'Living Ciel' should agree to marry her after this part of the story. Plus, I don't think she should marry either of them at this point, because they're first cousins for goodness sake. Just because she can swing a sword and fight doesn't make her less of an airhead IMO. ![]() Plus, the flaw of her character is the insecurity of her not being who she is - if she's a bad ass she should be like her mother instead of hiding it and I think that's her problem, she really is a airheaded little girl still in a lot of ways. Shouldn't that tell her something about 'Dead Ciel'? That she would competely turn her back on him because suddenly 'dead Ciel' returns bothers me.Īnd that she goes and hides stuff from her family about it and runs off, all the secrecy. I get that shes messed up emotionally over the situation with the twins, but I look at the other side and that Ciel has been there for her and saved her life previously. It might be weird but I actually like her less now that she's suddenly become this 'badass'. I don't know, I've sort of been on both sides of hating and liking elizabeth. So this is your warning to stop now and don't read this point if you can't handle discussing a topic past book 1 page 1.**************************** Spoiler News Flash Don't read Unicorn's posts if you don't want to be spoiled, she's up to date and reads spoilers without complaining because she's an adult and knows not to read a forum about a subject if you haven't caught up with the series yet. I could go on and on, but these are the top reasons that pop up in my head now. Hello! Even if you do not know about the terrible things that he had to go through, as a not-self-centered person, you would ask about and be sympathetic to what Ciel went through. When we find out her thoughts during the flashback to when she saw Ciel (O'Ciel) again, we just hear about how she feels. Never did she ask about his dead parents, too. Never did she ask Ciel about his dead brother. Thirdly, she only has any interest in the twin Ciel's after finding out about the first one 'living'. This is in modern days a total breach of etiquette, and for back then, an offensive one as well. ![]() Related and/or fianceed or not, you don't go into someone else's home and demand the person's time/ change how their home looks / demand clothing changes. Secondly, throughout both the manga and anime, we see her consistently use manipulation in order to get what she wants from everyone - especially Ciel. I mean, she was even willing to die in order to not look cute. Throughout the fighting, instead of thinking about her strengths, she thought about fashionable shoes and how Ciel's thoughts on her would change (so all about her, her, her). I know the events on Book of the Atlantic made some people think of her as someone badass or the like, but the only reason why she showed her prowess with swords was because her fiance was about to die. First, she has never showed herself to not be self centered.
